A coaching culture
- Trying to excel - Engaging - Talking about achievement - Learning - Supporting colleagues - Taking responsibility - Taking a balanced attitude to risk |
Another culture
- Feeling unable to cope - Avoiding - Talking about what’s wrong - Defending a position - Attacking colleagues - Blaming others - Avoiding risk |
Which culture would you like to work in?
Which has the best chance of success?

What is CoachPlus?
CoachPlus is a personal, practical
service for leaders. It is an opportunity
for you to enhance your own coaching
skills and transform the culture of your
organisation.
“The coaching work you did with us was
inspiring and invaluable.”
CoachPlus is not a coaching course. It is
not online, does not involve
accreditation or assessment and it can’t
be delegated to someone else. It’s
challenging, it isn’t for everyone but it
might be right for you.

What does it involve?
CoachPlus gives you the equivalent of two
days of personal development. An initial
discussion with Jim will ensure this time is
tailored to your needs. Examples include:
• Pre-arranged one-to-one coaching
sessions (usually 1.5 hours each)
• You coaching a senior member of your
staff with observation, individual
support and follow-up
• You coaching another leader with
individual observation and support
• Senior members of your staff coaching
others with you being guided in your
observation
• A ‘Coaching Culture’ staff development
day or part-day, organised with your
full involvement
